Hello, I’m Isatou. The founder of IBF Events, lovely to meet you.
I discovered that I had a passion for event planning from a young age, at college I assisted with organising the biggest event of the year our leavers party and in university I was the social event organiser for the law society which meant I had a hand in organising numerous events in the academic calendar including social, educational and professional.
I came to realise that I was particularly interested in weddings and decided to enrol in a wedding planning course. During the time I was also working in the hospitality industry, working in some amazing venues and was able to practice the skills I had learned and been able to utilise over the years with the events I have planned and executed.
I was so eager to be practical and help out, whenever I would attend family or friends functions I somehow always ended up helping out in some way. I then decided to start planning functions for close family and friends, perfecting the skills that I had gained from the wedding course and work and realised that it was time to start IBF Events in 2018.
I value my relationships with the IBF Events team and client’s. I love being able to plan unforgettable events with an amazing team of talented passionate people.
